(View larger) I will print a copy in larger size, but I'm wondering if in black

and white or color. Thanks for your opinions!

I much prefer the b&w version. It's a timeless moment of childhood and full of fun. If only we could be so carefree and spontaneous as adults..

Hello Jack.  Although the color gives realism to the picture, the black and white will always have a special magic. Thanks for your kind words and critique.

Rosario.

I like both images it really shows the fun time they are having twice. However, I truely feel that we are all hook to BW because is what we saw as children and what we internalized as images growing up. To me color is fascinating showing beauty to the maximum level! My friend use to say, if the colors are not attractive you save the image going bw, And many will tell you that is great. Both BW and color show great art specially with your fun image here! Warm regards my frend.

Hi Pierre, I'm glad you like this picture, thank very much you for your critique.

Hi Jorge, I appreciate your time & kind words, I  often turn a picture to black and white, when  colors do not look good, but sometimes simply, I like the feeling of b & w. Thanks so much for your comments.

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

I like the apparent spontaneity of the image, and the warmth it conveys. The image provokes an almost involuntary smile, and a good feeling, and that is quite an achievement!

Very well done!

Hi Rosario, I actually like the color version more (but that's personal taste). It's a great moment capture, those childhood memories are timeless through your eyes and shooting angle! TFS!

I do think if you open the f-stop a bit more (say f8 or so) .. may be it would be nicer/softer in presentation.  Just my opinion! :-)

Me too for sure I think bw is better looking and moment caught is excellent and makes us think for those happy times of childhood.

Hi Alf. . This picture was taken at a family reunion (I have a large family), where there are always children and their smiles. I appreciate your comments and kind words.

I think you're right Tm J (about opening the f-stop). Thanks for your advice and kind comments.

Hello Radu, Another vote for the black and white ... Many thanks for the time to write this critique and share your feelings about this picture.

Really nice catch. I think I'd prefer color, albeit a less saturated, warmer tone than that showed here.

Another vote for the B&W.  Print both ways, then you could rotate them to suit your mood.  A  winner either way really.  Best, LM.
