Dragon's Back

A moody evening and rising tide gave me the opportunity for a shot I

have had in mind for some time, would love to hear the view of others.

Great composition. This is one image where I don't mind the absolutely milky water surface, which I think is often overdone. Here it contrasts nicely with the details in the concrete. Any detail in the water would ruin the effect. The clouds give you a beautiful dynamic swoosh.

I totally agree, great composition. Love the lines including the ones created by the cloud motion. Great mood which for me is created by the rich tones!

Thanks Alain, this is part of the sea defences on the north west coast of England, a large concrete structure to protect the sea wall.
