Elstad 9 Posted April 11, 2014 Putting the cart before the horse I suppose as I haven't posted all the images that comprise this set but I will by the bye. Thanks for the Look and the Write! best viewed large... larger than this most certainly :=D raymond Link to comment
timothymuffitt 1 Posted April 11, 2014 Dear Raymond, This is kind of like Hollywood Squares without Paul Lynde....but seriously, much of the appeal of this for me is that in almost every case the confines of the box are being challenged. It is like Beethoven trying to write in the models of his predecessors Mozart and Haydn...the ideas were too big, too bold, too strong to fit in the pre-existing framework. It had to break out. Great work as always! Tim Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 11, 2014 I am not sure if we are supposed to have a favourite or favourites, however I do believe the top right is the one I like the most. Link to comment
gardena 0 Posted April 11, 2014 What pains in the necks these models must have. But it was worth it. Link to comment
iliafarniev 13 Posted April 11, 2014 Well, here we are, Mr Elstad - you've got them all boxed and I was thinking to dismantle the mechanism of shame one has to be at least somewhat sadistic as far as artistic integrity goes. Link to comment
AlanKlein 2,917 Posted April 11, 2014 A most pleasant depiction of Tic-Tac-Toe. Does it mean anything that only the middle box is reversed? Or are the other eight? Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted April 11, 2014 I think the presentation deserves as much acclaim as the photographs, it gives an insight as to how they could be utilised as a set....for instance they would make unique novelty coasters! Compliments! Alf Link to comment
charo 3 Posted April 12, 2014 Hi Raymond. This work is impeccable! You've done a great job here, grouping these pictures with art and good taste, so that together, we have a really good result.Regards,Rosario. Link to comment
