Sean,  Wow, this is amazing - superb image.  I'd love to learn how to do these Milky Way shots and someday be able to view the Aurora Borealis.  The format is also excellent, quite panoramic.  My compliments.  Larry

This is in all likelihood the most spectacular photograph of an Alaskan night sky I've ever seen.  The merging of the two component images definitely was the right call, inasmuch they compliment each other perfectly.  The Aurora provides neon color and the Milky Way provides millions of points of light.  In turn, the silhouetted landscape furnishes dramatic contrast.
