jacqui1 0 Posted November 28, 2013 At the suggestion from Alf Bailey as to what my previous image "Brenton" would look like without its' owner I decided to give it a try... and call it Peter Pan.... Thanks Alf :) Your thoughts and comments are welcome. Link to comment
scotttyrrell 0 Posted November 28, 2013 Well, as a piece of collaborative art this works very well. I myself had similar feelings about this shot, or one similar, which you have in the present competition. I was immediately drawn to the shadow and almost felt the boy to be a distraction from a lovely clean and evocative image. I, personally, would have cranked the contrast on this one as well - but that's just my current taste! Greta shot Link to comment
jacqui1 0 Posted November 28, 2013 Hi Scott I'm glad you like this one... I personally didn't think of taking my Grandson out of the image, ( I have Alf Bailey to thank for his creative mind ) but I also like it, and on refection I totally agree with your thoughts that the boy could be seen as a distraction. I will crank up the contrast and re-post here...... just out of curiosity :) and out of that same curiosity I will visit your portfolio :) Thank you for your visit and your positive feedback, it is appreciated. Warm regards Jacqueline Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted November 28, 2013 Yes! That is exactly how I envisaged it. But credit goes to the photographer for catching the action in the first place! Very well done! Warm Regards Alf Link to comment
