For this picture, I have to thank Harold Davis, who wrote the

tutorial "Placing a Flower Photo on a Background". It has been very

helpful.

You are very kind, Maurizio.  Thanks a lot for the "Queen of the Flowers" title, but I don not think I deserve it.  Saluti, il mio amico.

Hello Jim, You are right, the idea is that it looks like a painting.  Thank you for commenting this picture.

Rosario.

Hi Rosario,

Congrats on your first attempt at working with background and textures. Background suits the Hibiscus perfectly. Very artistic and striking presentation! I am also working on textures at the moment and it's fun!

Best wishes. Sarah.

The presentation is superb! Yes my Cult Lady was one of the actreces in the Play by Moliere. You are a worldly lady. Keep up the great posting!

Of the 7 images currently in your portfolio, this one appeals to me the most. Subject is diagonally placed, the red portions are clearly defined (Focus stacking perhaps) and the colors seem to be quite natural.

I consider this image to be very good.  Congrats.

Thanks for sopping by, Tony.  For this flower I did not use Focus Stacking, actually I used a 100-400 mm lens at a distance of 200 mm, and f13, overexposing the picture, against an almost White sky.  I really appreciate your time and kind words.

Regards,

Rosario.
