I love the simplicity of the shot and the very moody atmosphere.

The very gradual diminishing visibility adds a great sense of mystery and silence.

The slight curve of the horizon and fading fog (with a less affected foreground) make for great compositional elements.  I'd like to compare this to versions that have cooler tones -- reddish fog may be an odd combination.

Hi, Stephen. Thank you for your helpful comment. I think you're right. In some respects this version was an accident; I chanced to make the white balance warmer and then thought "This could be OK as a pseudo black and white sepia image". But it's in colour, of course. I'll see if I get round to offering a cooler version. Best regards.
