Swallow In Flight

You are getting a lot of 'impossible' shot nowadays. TFS! :-) ... and you've done it without the 1DX 12fps too.  I think I want a 300mm F2.8 also since I can not seem to get these type of shot with my 500mm F4 (trying to blame it on the lens now, lol).

I am full of admiration. have not had the opportunity to enjoy such photography of swallow.

The picture is dynamic and very well composed. I like how the bird looks at the viewer.

Fantastic shot. How did you nail it? What were the AF settings? Did you have to line it up when it was perched first, or did you just directly nail it in the air? I cannot get these guys unless they briefly stop in  mid-flight.
