This is a follow up to my 'Leg Ache' image. Herman wanted to see

the whole sceen. As it happens I didn't manage to get the whole

person including the boots (note to myself to take more care next

time). The boots image came from a different shot of just the legs.

This is just for fun and not really intended to be a serious image.

The Boots or the full image.....I'm not quite sure which end is the scariest!  But what a brilliant character!

Don't undersell yourself here, it is a fun image yes, but it takes more than just a lucky shot to get a result like this, the expression is priceless!

Best Regards

Hi Gareth,

For me, ALL images are serious......it's my job !!!

Technically, this is spot on at 70mm F/2.8.

This is a fun shot, though.

Nice work my friend.

Best Regards, Mike

Hi Alf, I was expecting some stick for not including all the boots. I know how fussy some here on PN are about chopping off bits of limbs. Problem was I was too close 70mm being my shortest available. The look is probably one of disdain as there seems to be an un-written rule on the WGW that any portrait shots are done up at St Marys Church, in the town centre cameras stay in bags. Unfortunately for me it is all about the streets, for one I am not a portrait photographer and two I like candid street shots. While there is no law against it I intend to carry on.

Thanks for stopping by, if you would like to see more I have loads on Flickr. See the boots image for the link.

Best regards

Gareth.

Hi Mike, this was really for Herman, I would have prferred all the boots in view. Some here on PN don't like the combination of colour and B/W, it would seem it should be one or the other. I did this for a bit of fun and tried to make it a bit different.

Regards

gareth.
