Thanks for getting back to me Mike. I actually used the original image in a Composition I did that is in my 'Humour' folder, (Everytime You Go Away). It is one of my favorites.

thanks so much for your continued interest!

Warmest regards, Gail

My sincere thanks for your visit and very encouraging comments. While it will take me some time to reach your level of expertise (if ever!!!;-)..) I always value your input!

The metamorphosis of the fly. The repetition of pattern creates a rich, intriguing but darkly alien image. Perhaps this is how a common house fly pictures himself when he imagines himself becoming king of the universe.

Creative and ingenius!

It has all the hallmarks of being an iconic symbol for the ihabitants of the Planet Maelstrom,  The Flgytonians, thier purpose to dominate the Universe and rid the outter echelons of space from the scourge of mankind. This emblem is worn by every inhabitant each one like a finger print, unique and laser tattooed at birth onto the wrist of every Flygtonian citizen! The iridiscent fluid contained therein, that glows in recognition of fellow flygtonians, and visibley dims in the presence man.

Excellent work Gail, again it captures my imagination!

Best Regards

Alf

PS: -  I have just read Jacks comments, seems like we think alike on this one : - )

I'd be proud to wear this insignia on my armor any time.  Layers and patterns - a winning combination.

My best,

michael

A dynamic creation - the near mirroring of the dark and vivid gold hues within a complex yet balanced design is both abstract and palpably real. Great work, Gail.

So nice to hear from you Amal, good to hear you enjoyed this one, rather darkish, but just a composition, not the way I think!!! :-) Gail

Thankyou for your thoughts on this composition.

For myself, I got to a  point where I liked the colours very much. I am not a DARK person, so while I enjoy composing these images, I do not think I would be staring at this for very long. But I know there are those (possibly young ones-university-college etc) that might think it cool. It's funny, they can be 'oddly' beautiful.

My sincere thanks for your interest and support! ;-) Gail
