Thousands of cranes spend the winter at Hula lake. There is anelegance of these creatures that I tried to capture in the series ofpictures I start posting.

Thanks for looking.

I love the cool tones and the V formation of the birds in flight and their subsequent muted reflections. It is a very lively shot and I can imagine the sounds and commotion that was occuring. There appears to be a light patch near the end of the lake upper right, would I be right in assuming this is a bank of low laying mist? It appears to be spilling over the trees and heading towards you. Your recent work seems to tip each end of the thermometer : - )

Nice work Tibi

Best Regards

Thanks for the visit

Alf,

Indeed there was a mist over the lake. As far as the thermometer is concerned, I will want to stretch it a bit more soon. So be with me in about two weeks from now.

Joscelyn,

In terms of PP skills, yes, the viewing post is easy to clone out. But whether the fact that it was there does buy it's right to stay or not is a question of approach.

Matthew,

Thanks, you are welcome to visit and I will post a couple of more shots from this outing.

You had a very interesting and productive morning.  This shot is my favorite of this series and it captures the ambiance of the cool, serene morning very well...  Mike
