A very "quiet" image with great power an very artistic and elegant. It has a very unique character, quite different from the many foggy Winter images around. The fact that you have a very marked and dark frontal subject and skinny trees makes this a lovely composition, enhanced by the dark branches in the lower right. Congratulations.

Great composition -- it has a sense of desolation, with the sparse trees, bare trees in the background, and branches sticking out of the snow.  I wonder how it would have been if you had stepped just a foot or two to the right to get more separation between the two nearest trees.  Excellent processing as well.  Very nice work.
