Hi Tibi

Most impressive detail and beautiful colour!

I must admit my first instinct was to recommend a crop of the RH side to leave a portrait orientated version that would render the butterfly looking into the image. But after viewing the larger version I have drawn the conclusion that I wouldn't want to lose anything from this scene, the flowers and stems to the right are just too good to crop and they do serve to frame the butterfly well too!

My conclusion, "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Compliments & Best Regards

Alf

Hi Tibi,  This an excellent plus image, has like a 3D look about it, like I could reach out and touch that beautiful butterfly.  Colors are so alive and real. Wonderful detail on the butterfly.  Wow, just so wonderful to look at. Best Regards,  Sherry

A beautiful butterfly and environment. I only would like to see a bit more of the frontside of the butterfly.

Alf,

I spent some time and looked at quite a couple of cropping options for this shot and am very happy you like what I came up with. I have been getting lots of cropping suggestions on my images lately so it will be probably good to go on and treat myself to a crash course in the art of cropping.

Sherry,

I am glad you like the butterfly. Macro shooting is one of my beetles and I have not been out with my macro lens for a while. Ought to do it soon.

Hans,

If you whisper just softly in the ear of the butterfly, you might just make it turn around :)

Pierre and Radu, thanks for the visit,
