sherrybell 0 Posted January 15, 2013 Tired of the cold and the white covered ground day after day, with temperatures in the teens to zero or below. So I wanted something warm and pretty with lots of colors to look at to brighten my day. Hope this brightens your day too. Thanks to each who take time to share their thoughts about my images. ndj 0 Posted January 15, 2013 A gorgeous colorful wildflower meadow Sherry! Starting to look forward to warm spring days in the mountain meadows again. Much as I enjoy winter it could be a touch shorter ;-)All the best,Neil Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted January 16, 2013 Very good. You certainly have 'the eye'.When you have an image as good as this you start looking for potential areas of improvement and i did not find any. From an artistic and personal taste perspective, I wondered about that solitary white cloud and wondered if I would have cloned it out. It looks just fine 'as is' and even complements the small line of snow in the distance. Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted January 17, 2013 #6.Yes, you got a happy and lovely day and so do we. Nice color foreground. Love the snow still there with the flowers all over. Excellent composition. Best Regards, Link to comment

tibig 0 Posted January 19, 2013 I like the colors and clarity of this photo. The classical composition is also fine, with the minor exception of the cloud that is cropped and offers an unwanted gate for the gaze to leave the picture. What I mean is that when "reading" the picture the eyes travel left to right, neatly lead by the beautiful white curve of the snow. Now the preferred conclusion of this journey would be a "point" like element (that could be a round cloud) ore else just meeting the sky and edge of the frame, so that the gaze is lead back into the picture.Best Regards, Tibi Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted January 26, 2013 I think this one has the edge over the latest posting just in terms of brightness of colour and the undulating terrain of the foreground. This must be the most difficult type of landscapes to get right. But I think you have achieved a great balance of elements here . I would usually like to see a bit more sky, but must admit that with mostly plain blue, your composition was a wise choice.Sincere Compliments & Best Regards Alf Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 1, 2013 I love the POV in this capture Sherry, probably because wildflowers are one of my favorites and one is fortunate to get so many in bloom. Lovely composition! Link to comment
