Hello Tibi

A nice image. I have a couple of thoughts. First I feel there may be too much sky included and might be stronger if some was cropped out. Also its rather muted, it's a matter of taste, I like things to have more punch, some don't. I did a quick edit to show what I mean and suggested alternate crop. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the suggestion but to be honest I do not find it improves the picture.

The composition looses some of it's supporting elements in your crop. To better explain, see the illustration above. Horizontal lines A and B mark the golden ratio points. The main diagonal line of the slope divides the rectangle in equal areas of rock and sky. The secondary diagonals:

•  the line of the trees in the lower part of the picture and

•  the line C of the cloud

are also IMHO important elements that contribute to a balanced image.

By removing the top, breaking the line of the cloud, much of the strength of this composition is lost.

Regarding the image being rather muted, you have a point there, indeed the colors can be a bit more saturated as you show well in our example.

I give a little bit of reenergizing massage to your image Tibi. I like the Moon very much, siting in the right place. Very good.
