Wonderful tight shot of this magnificent bird!  The shadow detail and lighting are especially nice.  Is this a Griffon Vulture?  I believe they are having a difficult time maintaining their populations in Europe.  Interesting that it doesn’t have a completely bald head like the American Turkey Vulture.  Best regards

Thank you for your comment. Actually it's an african vulture. Unfortunately this one lives in captivity. Here we only find the european species, very close to our house... I'll try to photography them with paragliders, as they share the same location.
