The portion of Bryce Canyon called "Wall Street" is really fun toclimb. The views are so uniquely interesting that you do not have timeto pay attention to the effort you make!

Thanks for looking.

Normally I prefer landscapes without people, but from this example where they add both scale and depth to the image and from other work here on PN I'm rethinking my position.  A very interesting place, I'm putting it on my bucket list for a visit.  Thanks for sharing... Mike

Fascinating view of the scenery, and the people that seem to occupy every corner of it.  I wonder if there are limitations as to where you can tread in order to preserve the order of things and prevent erosion?

I know in the UK that the number of visitors can have a detrimental effect on the landscape, and a great deal of money goes in restoration and protection, but of course the scales are vastly different.

A great shot nonetheless and a great insight into the visitor populace.

Best Regards

Mike,

Indeed Bryce Canyon is well worth a visit.

Bela,

Tanks for compliments and wishes. BUE'K!

Alf,

Yes, lots of visitors can indeed cause erosion. We were told when we entered the park that we happened to fall on the day with most visitors ever. The number is not limited as strictly as in other places (for example for the Fiery Furnace tour that I posted pictures here you have to register a couple of months upfront as the number of visitors is limited to a couple of tens per day.
