thank you 'Professor'!!! Glad you enjoyed this one. I am so glad just to see her so 'happy'. She can be quite the little 'actress' at times. She loves to make us laugh, as does her brother. Many thanks for my 'good marks'!!!

Thankyou Doug for that very encouraging critique. I'm glad you see the fun and yes the 'goofiness' of being a kid. We often forget that part of ourselves as we get older. My sincere appreciation for your visit.

Great presentation Gail, I can just feel the joy! Very nice PP and with your explanation it all makes perfect sense.

Hi Gail, After reading your intro I enjoyed this image even more. Great shot of a very happy go lucky child, as you stated whats better than that. I agree. Take care.

Apart from that priceless expression, and the great colour quality, the clarity and sharpness of this image is enviable!  The catchlights in her eyes (which I know you tinkered with) lol and the skin tones are such, that as much I enjoy the crazed look and smile whle I view it, there is part of me that wishes she posed for the camera in a more traditional way : -) Its such a great shot! But yeah, you are right, life is far too serious too much of the time, and this shot just celebrates the fun aspect beautifully!

Very well done Gail!

Best Regards

I think it was just one of those moments that gets captured and you never expect it to turn out so well. I do appreciate your input Alf! Great to hear your positive comments. The colour was good, the vivid tones in her jacket were what caught me eye first. She has such a great 'imagination' and thought process. Quite often she picks up her Mom's camera and takes a few images and she already has a good eye. Ones I've thought perhaps Shauna has taken, Shaelyn actually has. While she uses Auto Modes, Shaelyn gets some great images. I am happy it is one of her many interests. To see her just be 'zany' is a joy! Life for kids today is already too burdened by unnecessary pressures. This image reinforced in me that her 'inner child' is still very prominent and alive. Soon I will blink and she will be a 'teenager'. My babes, they grow up far too fast!!!

My sincere thanks Alf for your visit and very thougthful words, Gail

Gail, I love to look at your work for a number of reasons. 1) You do something with your photos that I don't have an eye for 2) You do something with your photos that I can't (at least at this point) 3) There is often a sort of dreamy or surreal property about your photos that I enjoy looking at. This one is no different. The processing is something unique and is interesting to look at. Wonderful work here Gail.

Wild and crazee, but natural too. Good fun picture Gail. A lot more to it than just a snapshot. You have done some more experimenting whilst I have been MIA.

I see you have done similar processing on "finger painting" also. Looks good and original.

All my best,  Bill
