National Cathedral Crypt Stair

Strong composition and excellent exposure for what looks to me like a difficult lighting situation. I've been shooting wildlife and landscapes for a few years now, and I'm just getting interested in architecture. I've had a look at your gallery and learned a lot. Thanks.

Another excellent creation, Chris.  Your composition controls and leads the eye and entertains every step of the way.  I suspect this took significant work to manage the light.  

Thanks guys. I needed 5 bracketed images to make the light work. I also combined differently focused images to get the rail sharp and the back wall sharp. 10 shots in all. 

Wow.  Well worth the effort.
