Being without power for 4 days I passed the time by visiting some of

the areas closer to my home. In Keyport, NJ the Matawan Creek (famous

for the 1916 shark attacks) had most of its marinas destroyed. Boats

are strewn everywhere, frontyards, bridges, the middle of the street,

train bridges and here on this dead end street. Many of these boats

have seen their last days. Thoughts and critiques are appreciated.

Hi Joseph,

On Earth, Nature is the most powerful force that we can relate to directly.

Again, you did a fine job documenting the results for a great storm.

Best Regards,  Mike

What bedlam nature can wreak on mankind, without favour or prejudice, and whilst it is frightening and sickening to those who have lost everything, particularly those that have lost family or friends, it is a reminder of how insignificant we really are when compared to the powers of nature.  The sign kind of says it all Joe. A poignant message at a scene of devastation.  Very well communicated!

I hope that you and your family are safe and well.

I have relatives in Atlantic City and there was a great deal of damage there too. Fortunately thier property only suffered minor damage from flooding.

Cheers Joe
