Nice result! Colorfull, great playing with DoF, excellent framming, right diagonal composition... The background black is interesting, but looks not that real, photoshoped?

I like the soft light and the selective focus. I also like the color of the flowers blending with the black background. the diagonal placement of the flower, protruding bulbs plus careful selective focus adds drama to the overall picture. But I am quite disturbed by the tight cropping.

You like it David, because it looks like the flowers are the source of the light, they are simply radiating light! Wonderful picture with beautiful colors!
