Superb work! You should "request a critique" for this one. I'm sure you would get very positive feedbacks.

Best regards,

Alain

Today Alain D posted a similar shot in B&W. Nearly two years ago

he suggested that I post my color version for critique/rating. So here

it is...

I like the overall appearance of the image and the shutter speed that gives the water a ghostly appearance. The subtle colour transition of the sky is a nice touch. I might have allowed a bit more space at the top and sacrificed a small amount at the bottom. I'm also not sure I would have included the rock on the far left that is half in half out of the frame. The lower right seems disproportionately dark to the rest of the image, but maybe it was just the direction of the light.

Compliments & Best Regards

Nice to see your work again. I would also like to see the rock in the upper left hand side removed and a bit of the fore ground as well.

Beautiful coloration and a real other-worldly look!  I can see the possibility of removing the one rock, but I have a somewhat different idea.  I like the dark lower right corner.....it's as if those rocks are wet, and they set off the large brown rock nicely.  And then since you do have that large rock in the lower right, I think the rock on the left margin balances the image nicely.  And it also gives a sense of there being more of these spires up and down the coast.  I wouldn't change a thing.
