alfbailey 3 Posted September 26, 2012 Good comparison between the two buildings and from a great perspective wide angle shot. Its interesting to note that the older a buiding gets, the more more in tune with nature it seems to become.Compliments! Alf Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted September 27, 2012 Thank you for the note on the image.I chose this title because I remember this farmstead when it was aged but still straight(proud) in the 50's.Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted September 27, 2012 Thank you for dropping by and for the kind and always pertinent comment. The house and barn are roughly the same vintage, but as paint was costly,it was reserved for the house;even when cost was not a consideration, traditionally, cedar shingling was left unpainted on barns. You are right about the creep towards nature and it seems that this is amplified as the structures are abandoned and left to deteriorate.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted September 27, 2012 Thank you so much. The long almost wet grass was just ideal for this low POV especially for the 10mm end of the WA lense.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
