An Elephant in Sheep's clothing

Great timing indeed. It might warrant a tighter crop though.

It is a stunning picture, at the right time at the right place. It attracts the attention for a short time but then it's over. The giraffes are much better suited for a book cover. Karl

As much as I obviously like this image, although I don't find it nearly as transient as Karl does, I also think the giraffes offer a more illustriative representation of Africa and more suitable for a book cover.

 

That said, thiis shot remains one of the most unique elephant shots I've seen and brings an immediate smile.  I hope this is the centerfold of your book ;-)...  Mike

 

For what it is worth...  Centerfold not cover is my opinion as well.

Seriously though, this must be unique as a photograph, as well as capturing the moment, the detail and dof are  spot on!

Definitely an eye catching image.  But I find the title too cute, for me it conflicts with the nature of this magnificent animal, it is not true to the subject. Again just my personal response.

Very unusual and original. Great shot!

This is a stunning and totally unique shot.  I have seen images of elephants fussing with dust many times but never anything close to this.  Also, love the title - truly does look like a sheep.
