Beautifully dramatic! I do wonder, however, what the image would look like if the sky had not been darkened? The only reason I ask is because, as much as I like the image the way it is, the sky seems somehow artificial.

Otto, I may have to take another look at that, I appreciate your suggestion! I had added the darkened sky before the toning, so maybe it would look better. It was very bland in the original.

I think your toning is great.  I agree that the sky seems a bit too dark.  Whatever you do, I suggest that you have a definite horizon line where sky meets water.

The lighting and the tones and so with the movement of the waves make this an enticing landscape.
