Another one I redid, I added just a little bit of zest (as Przemek said on first

photo - thanks again). Nothing is changed, photo is just sharpened. Thanks

for your comments, they are as always welcome!

I didn't see the first one either, but I really like this!  I love reflections and there are some wonderful converging lines brought about by them here. The X shape in particular at the foot of the bridge, and the semi-circle itself look great! I like the presence of the boat too, the only thing I would advise about that particular aspect of the image is to try and keep it seperate from the bridge. a step to the right may have made the difference? The sharpness is good and the colours look natural, the warm glow of the bridge illumination are also enjoyable focal points.  A possible crop would be a horizontal cut at the very point where the near side bridge support comes into contact with the underside of the bridge, it looks fine as it is, but the crop suggestion is an alternative geared more towards third orientations.

Very nice work Ulla!

Best Regards

Gillie and Alf, the first one is next to this one in the same folder:). This is very interesting to compare two versions, and both are very good. This one is better to my taste - sharper, more contrast and more "powerful". I like the composition and reflection, very well done and presented.

Gillie: Thank you for your nice and kind comment :), as Gunnar already said, I put both of them in the same folder, so you can compare the result of a simple sharpening.

Alf: I got lucky with the water and with the hand held photo but I totally agree that a step on the right would make a difference. Well that's why we learn (with a help of nice people like you), to see things better next time. And I can see the crop you mentioned, it would really make a difference, I'll try it. The second pillar is on one third but the water is a bit lower so i could lift it with that cut. Thank you again for your suggestions and for your time.

Przemek: Yes it was easy with your help, thank you :)

Maurizio: It does make a difference, doesn't it :)! Love your comments and thank you for support!

Gunnar: I'm so happy you took the time to compare and to see the difference. Here I can see how much better a photo can be with just a little bit of advice from other photographers. I love to learn, that's why I usually listen to advice or at least try to make what others think it would be better and the results do surprise me in a good way. Thank you for your nice comment!
