An excellent street capture Holger!! and very good B&W Processing!!! That is one area I really have to work on, I tend to shy away from it. You have really deep tones in your 'blacks' - I tend to really like that. What impresses me also is that the skin tones on the women are very good. Nice work Holger!

Very effective shot! Composition, light control and details all are awesome and excellent. I love bw conversion in this sot. Its artful and masterful. Just a small suggestion here is removing vignette in left lower corner, though causing small distraction. Congratulations for this amazing street photography.

To Poster John T., Your suggestions are good and on the money. The only reason I couldn't move over is I would have been in the bay, as the waters edge was very near. I think my timing could have been better also, as they where a bit more animated and talkative moments later. Anyway I appreciate your input, thanks.

I do like Tony's crop but both versions still have the perfectly timed and captured... boredom.  Love it...  Mike

Holger, I agree the b/w tones in this are very nice. I quite like the amount of space around them, though I might try a bit of burning on the two light elements in the background right behind the girls. It's a nice summer day scene.

The various possible crops aside, what I really like about this is the expressions and body language.  "Girl Talk" is an excellent choice of title, the relaxed way the dark haired girl contemplates her nails would seem indicative of the casual small talk. Great B & W tones too.

I do like Tony's crop Holger and it made the image much more dynamic. It even made the tonal range richer. Beautiful black and white work!
