saqib_zulfiqar 0 Posted July 27, 2012 Shot this is a +-2 HDR. Tone mapping done in photomatix 4, Noise and sharpening in PS CS5. Please let me know if there are any suggestions or comments. Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted July 28, 2012 This is a tastefully processed HDR of a very beautiful and tranquil setting. I think the cattle on the far bank add a nice spark of life to the scene, and the reflected mountains look great. Compliments! Alf Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted July 28, 2012 Lovely scenery beautifully and masterfully captured. Your HDR processing is very well done, if you had not mentioned it i would not have guessed it was HDR. My only (minor) comment is that the peak appears slightly "hot". I much prefer the color and tones of the reflection and I would probably be tempted to reduce the brightness on the upper part of the snow cap. But as i said this is really minor and overall this is a very beautiful image. Regards - michel Link to comment
saqib_zulfiqar 0 Posted July 28, 2012 Thank you folks for your very constructive feedback and criticism. It is always nice to get feedback on how to improve your work. First of all, just so that you know the mountain in the background, is the 8126m high "Nanga Parab", 9th highest in the world.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanga_Parbat As for the washed out upper mountain, I should have taken a shot or two under to cover that, but unfortunately, even though the reflection came out great, the peak itself was over. I can try to clone from the reflection, but I deliberately decided to keep it like this to make the viewer's eye go to the peak first. You can say, it was by design.
