Jim,

A very nice image.  I looked in my bird book and here is another vote for a Brown Thrasher.

Nice image Jim, with a lot of detail. I thought the bird doesn't stand out with the tree in the background, maybe you moved a little to your right.......

Many thanks to you all for taking the time to view & comment!

Mark & Bill,  That's two votes as a Brown Thrasher, and from what little online research I was able to devote, I find that they are pretty common here in the Midwest. I had just never viewed one closely!

Pat,  I have no idea what you meant by "Busy little comp!" Although I tried google, I still don't know, . . . maybe some new Social Media term?

Gamini,  I did have the opportunity for a slight moment with him in the darker areas of the background but, I missed it! Just not fast enough in the Live View mode, and the Thrasher did'nt stay in one place very long! But I thought this o.k. although he does "blend" in pretty well! Mother Natures natural camouflage!

Giangiorgio, Many thanks for your visit and comment! I've been in your wonderful Bird folder many times!

Thanks all!

Sincerely,

Jim j.

Nice composition. I like the touch of green in the left corner. It give me the feeling of summer.

Thanks for the visit & comment!

Yes, he could have landed in a more attractive area, and I tried to get him to do so but he wouldn't listen as I was whispering behind the view finder! All in all though, his perch for the moment made me think of the title.

Cheers & regards always,

Jim j.
