Rodos In The Mist

Some Rodos in bloom along the Oregon Coast, Slamed on the brakes

backed up grabbed my gear and ran across a busy road. The fog was

clearing up kind of fast, I worried I would not be able to capture the

scene before me, so wanted the soft light before the harsh light of day

came through the thining fog. Your thoughts and time are appreciated.

Definately worth dodging the traffic for!  The sharpness, clarity and colour are all the more accentuated by the soft misty back drop. Very well done!

sherry,  i grew up in oregon what now seems a life time a go, went back for first visit in 40 years this time last year,  in 6 weeks i had 3 sunny days of which 2 were my last days there.  such majestic moody landscape with all those enormous douglas firs.  your image really brings back the memories,  lovely to view.

Very interesting flowers and moment caught with this mist is excellent,I like it,best regards.

I am not commenting on this image only, but on all of yours.  Great work, they are beautiful.  You don't have a lot of quantity, but you certainly have "quality".  Keep up the good/artistic work.  You must be a natural!

Hi Sherry...I have tried to capture the Redwoods' rhododendrons but never am able to time it right.  This is truly magnificent! The colors, the fog, the details, and composition are superb. Beautiful image!!

Misty forest and flowers. Not an image i could picture in my mind, but you pull it off and bring the elements together perfectly.

It is a very romantic image. Beautiful.
