if i take this shot again, it is not the same picture - because the person sitting in the background was a stranger to me. so, it's not an arranged photo.

at least i can try it one day, if the weather is much better - with a model, sitting there?!

The B&W really makes this photograph!

Wish there was just a bit more above the person's head, but with the transparent frame, . . . it works fine!

I would concur with Jim, a little bit more room above would have been ideal. A wider angle lens or perhaps taking a step back.  But on a more positive note I think the composition is really good The foreground textures of the reeds, the diagonal jetty with the fisherman at the end and the moored boats are al well placed.  The near focus gives an impresssion of blurred infinity to the distance which has a calm & pleasing effect
