pnital 36 Posted May 27, 2012 Thanks both of you. The photos were found by the curator/performer thrown in the garbage... so it is lost memories of an unknown family. At least some life memories were saved. Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted May 30, 2012 What I see in your last tree uploads is that this charismatic exhibition sustains its reputation for being an idiosyncratic, concept-driven affair asking to do a lot of thinking... I can only congratulate that you have the chance to be 'at the spot'. Good luck - enjoy the 100 days... Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 1, 2012 Thanks both of you for a very nice feedback. This is a series and I will upload another one or two. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted June 5, 2012 Even the muted tones here emphasize the 'fading' of the memories. I know of people who collect old discarded photos even if the subjects are unknown to them. I guess they feel it connects them to the past with it's different styles & fashions. It does make one realize that the subjects were real people, just from a different time. I remember hearing of a child who, after viewing an old album of B&W prints, asked his parents if there were colours back then. Imagine a child thinking the world was B&W with no colours! Such are the thought patterns of children. Always interesting to view your latest. Best, LM. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted June 6, 2012 Thanks for writing your experience and thoughts it has triggerd in your mind. Interesting especially for me is the child's question about colors then.... really unbelievable! As you see , those photos were used for art purposes, in this case nothing was discarded...;-)) It is always nice to read and have your visits at my work! Len. Link to comment
