sherrybell 0 Posted May 9, 2012 Taken in Teton NP while some 200 miles away a forest fire was burning causing the sky in Teton NP to become clouded with smoke. I knew of a point that would give me a good shot of the Tetons reflecting in Jackson Lake, this was the results Link to comment
rufous03 0 Posted May 9, 2012 Very nice, but may I suggest cropping some off the bottom. Just a thought Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted May 9, 2012 Dust or no dust, it is a beautiful image of an iconic location. I like the bench because it imbues the scene with a sense of tranquility and a resting place from which I can sit and thoroughly enjoy the view. I usually try not to take a single image. For my 2nd image, I would have moved past the bench, got down low and use the stones as a lead-in to the rest of the scene. My third shot would have been portrait mode. 4th shot I might have zoomed in (50:50 split) and just got the mountain and it`s reflection with a bit of the land on the right side. Before I get passionately carried away all because of this image, I rest my case for you the jury to judge and decide.I don`t have my Alberta folder visible but here is a link to one of the images utilizing stones as a lead-in.
