Great observation, brings back faded memories of pressing my nose up against the sweet shop window, and making wishes. This is one guarranteed to raise a smile. Very well done!

Best Regards

Good Morning Donna, I would add good POV because you are down at her level. Alfs' post truly captures the sentiment of your fine image. Take care.

hi Donna. another great street shot.i love the colors. Looks like a big rainbow. there is a lot of detail that is very clear and vivid. the positioning of the girl works even without seeing her face we can guess what she is thinking.  i find the gray tone  where the key entry is on the vending machine appears  a bit unnatural for me but that is a small detail. most people would have walk by this scene. i can tell that you saw the charm the story of the photo the precise moment caught of a little girl in Neverland and that is what makes for  good street photography.

so glad you're exhibiting pictures again, Mike; i luv your themes in your bw conversions ;-} thank you for finding the poetry in this shot ;-} dp

Alf! your face against the candy shop window making wishes! priceless! wish of was there to capture those moments, lol... dp

Holger, yah, i felt very sentimental taking this picture; i totally wanted to capture her within her joyful little world; she was darling...  it was like watching a stage play, lol ;-} dp

Ilkka, hi... lovely to know it caught your eye for beauty   ;-}

hey carla... the colors surely mesmerized the little tot; i'll admit to lighting up the black machine a bit... i didn't want the ugly darkness of those machines to compete with her rainbow, lol... thank you... dp

Very good story telling image and nicely composed.  She's just deciding what she wants, hasn't got to the machine kicking stage yet.  Kudos to you for this fine candid.  Best, LM.
