Another experiment with B&W processing of tropical storm clouds.

Despite the vivid colors of French Polynesia, I think that B&W does a

better job of capturing the drama in the building storm clouds. This

image was taken at midday from a sailboat.

Beautiful picture (6) - in my opinion I have to disagree with Wanghan a little bit since I think that there is too much white on right side and you should crop it a touch to get good balance (maybe to that grey triangle of a cloud). But aside of it - I really enjoy the image and I think that BW decision is the right one.

I agree with Nebojsa, whites are saturated on the right side of the frame, hiding those rich details and textures that I only can guess. Try to work on levels, because composition and subject are very interesting.

This is a wonderful image in B&W, the clouds and the island at the horizon matching perfectly. If it is my, I my shift the camera more upward to get more of the beautiful sky.
