kos 0 Posted June 21, 2003 Not the best scan and could use some cropping.. But you get the idea Link to comment
pmj 6 Posted June 21, 2003 It has an Anne Geddes feeling to it, which I like very much. Technically, the photograph could be cleaned up a bit, I think. The flash and its resulting shadow is a bit harsh and the background a little bit distracting. I would certainly try something like this again in a more dedicated setting. On a table perhaps, with nice soft light? Link to comment
jamie bekkers 0 Posted June 22, 2003 I agree with the last comment, your baby (?) seems to be having a ball and I like the pot and the utensils but being on the stove is a bit off putting and makes what appears to be a bit of fun appear sinister. I would also like to know how to take pictures of reflective objects using a flash with getting the harsh reflection as mentioned by the last poster. Link to comment
pmj 6 Posted June 22, 2003 Regarding flash and reflective materials: what I would try, is the use of a diffusor. Something simple like the StoFen Omnibounce combined with off-camera flash. Experiment with angles so that the light does not get reflected straight into the lens. Link to comment
arno1 0 Posted June 23, 2003 Nice try, although the shadow and centring could be better! Link to comment
