Amazing! Wonderful colors and tones. It looks like you have done some luminosity painting around the main flower to make it stand out.  Maybe it's a bit too much, but I think it looks good.

The flower is nice and very sharp. The bright background around the flower is sweet but it looks like cheap photoshop manipulation. I would prefer the flower in front of a uniform dark background. Karl

Simply exquisite!  The sharpness and light conveys a fairy tale kind of magic to this image that is utterly compelling.  You do this kind of thing so well!  Excellent work my friend 7

Hi Dror,  Beautiful macro work with lighting that that brings out the wonderful colors in this flower. The boketh and lighting really makes the flower the focal point. Good composition. Wonderful capture. Best regards.   Sherry

and i even took the "cheap" comment on the chin...

dror,  well pal this must make 357 and counting.  now see the 10% you spoke of,  just has to be the dark patch on left side of flower. i just love how you have used the black mat to such a advantage, the dark image bleeding into the frame just adds oodles of mystery, mood and panache.   very clever you are mr. baldinger!

man who,  alex who,  not sure who your talking about!   you have almost converted me, go gunners!!

Yeah the idea is good closing and focusing the subject as you done like an irregular window. In Eden garden, all elements are beautiful, the point is taken in  different way I like the way that you stand out the flower of the rest. Photography is an art,you do it possible with your work.Take care

Stunning!  When I clicked on the large view, it just jumped out at me in all of its brilliant color.  I see that you took this with a macro lens, but since I don't know this flower, I can't get a sense of how big the flower is.......not that it matters for the image.......I'm just curious.

Difficult to add after all these deserved nice comments. Just to say that I like it too ... I know this is not very constructive or helpful... Thanks for sharing this image and making my eyes happy. Regards, Jean-Marc

christal - the flower is called "orange bulbine". the flowering part is about 2"-3" long at maturity.

jran-marc - always glad to read your comments, first or last.
