Very different and fascinating image.  My first thought when looking at the thumb  nail was that you had started photographing crockery, it does strongly resemble a plate. I really like the way the trees overlaps the rim of the "plate"  In fact I'm sure there must be a commercial outlet for such ingenious manipulations.  Personalised dinner services perhaps : - ) There is also a kind of 3D effect going on, the reflected clouds in the sliver of water looking like another dimension, beneath a carefully placed lid.

Best Regards

Alf

Thanks, Alf. Basically this is indeed a manipulated panoramic shot and I intend to keep making more of them. The reflection in the canal is a real one. the mountain on the "south" is Mt. Hermon. I hope that by carefully planing these shots in the future I will get them better.

It is a very special style of photography,  and you picking the right subject for it. I like them very much. Do you using a special stitching technic / software, other then the PS CS5 offer?

Greetings.

OK, I get the explanation on the previous comment.
