Monkey series 3

This one i think - the blue sky tends to pull the eye in the others.  Maybe a little tight to the left side but I can understand the push towards third composition - I quite like small figure in a forest feel of the other landscap one - maybe clone out the sky?

This is the one, no contest! It's outright winner for the following reasons

Image 1. Very central composiiton and the subject is relatively small in proportion to its surroundings and with far too much in the way of distracting colours and elements.

Image 2. The subject sits to the right of the frame looking out of it, not good.

Image 3. (This one) The subject sits with enough space in front of him to direct the viewers along the 2 branches above and below and into the image. Very little in the way of distraction but utterly compelling in terms of the enviroment in which the mokey resides.

Image 4. A close second but the bright vegetation at the top is too much of a distraction.

Just my humble opinion of course!  Very well done Bob!

Alf has done an admirable job in conveying my thoughts as well, so there is no need for me to repeat. This one wins, hands down.

You could probably go in a little tighter, taking from the top and the right...... just to make the subject a little bigger....... IMHO.
