After four day stay at this beautiful place and complete block of the

sky by crowded cloud, i eventually was lucky enough to see the last

sunset in fairly bare blue sky and captured some nice sunset shots,

this one of them. This is the result of total nine shots, six for

dynamic range and three focused at f/g with higher ISO rating and more

open aperture to reach higher speeds, freezing any floral movements

and DOF. No crop, clone, delete, add or straightening. Near three hour

ps work only for leveling, increasing tonal range, setting color

balance and DOF.... Any thoughts, suggestions, and critiques more than

welcome.

Hello Hamid, My first thought is it was well worth the wait. The light is just beautiful and what you've done with it took it to further hieghts. Everything in just the right place like a painting. I would not change a thing.

Holger

Nice composition and colour balance, the PP work you have put into the image has paid off. There is a great deal of depth and sharpness, and the warm evening light illuminates the surrounding foliage and buildings nicely.  My only question is why are the clouds not reflected in the water? but perhaps this has something to do with the angle of the light. Very well thought out composition and skillfully processed image!

Best Regards

What a lovely place to stay, it is too bad your weather was not better, but the P/P work and efforts truly paid off in this last sunset. Beautiful light upon the resort and the surrounding foilage, birds. Lovely reflections and attention to detail Hamid.

My congratulations to you for your patience and dedication to making this a fine landscape to share with us all.

Warmest regards, Gail

The foreground greens and the dramatic clouds emphasize the beauty of this place in Iran. Together with the reflection you have created a very appealing landscape, Hamid

Beautiful shot Hamid. Very nice contrasting and vivid colours make this landscape really stand out. Nice dramatic sky and warm yellowish evening sunlight further enhances the viewers interest. You also made good use of some foreground bushes to compose. Something  which slightly puzzles me is that the bluish hues of the sky are not reflected in the greenish water. Just picking on details . . regardless I like this a lot and a big well done! Best regards!!

Thank you so much for your encouraging nice words, comments and thorough analysis of the picture. I greatly appreciate that.

To Alf and John: This is not actually a long shot, and the water surface has not the reflective quality of a long shot. Ripples over the water reflects ambient light in different directions and disturbing a unique picture as sky ans trees, but you can see a vague picture of them in the water. Reflection of a blue sky in greenish water has different color from blue sky itself, but the point here is that the luminance of the water is distinctly differ from the sky: i used an ND grad filter which darkened the sky a bit, and you see the water is more bright than the sky itself. My great effort was to capture the natural environment there as close as possible to what i witnessed at that moment. Thank you again for your insightful and very beneficial points and comments.

My best regards,

Hamid.
