chris_panagiotidis 0 Posted September 24, 2011 Hi Pierre, I admire your photographical uneasiness with this certain image and constant effort to scratch the ( obvious) surface and reach deeper levels of interpretations and decipherment of the initial "scripture" . I made a little experiment my self ( a quick one-don't feel obgliged , lol!) and isolated and flipped thed shadows of the couple , seeing great pictorial potentials there too . The editing chosen for this very post gives it a modern Pompeian feel that increases the levels of attraction the previous ones -easily- succeded . Warm regards, file Pierre! Link to comment

BelaMolnar 2 Posted September 27, 2011 In this variation, the shadow, don't play a meager role, the image with this rustic effect, the aging look, the best. It is now, a perfect image. It is not really a surrealistic, but a very good artistic image. Cheers.Bela Link to comment
birteragland 1 Posted September 28, 2011 Absolutely love it, love the technique you used in this one. Link to comment
henderson 0 Posted September 28, 2011 Of your 3 versions of this photo, this is by far my favourite. Great use of monochrome and texture, and very well controlled hilights and shadows. Well done! Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted September 28, 2011 The processing (having seen the earlier versions) leaves me wondering "how the hell does he do it" and the title I found highly amusing. The combination of situation humour, your title and the processing, leads me to think of those old Seaside" postcards of yesteryear!Expertly done!RegardsAlf Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted September 30, 2011 Wonderful. I love the rockwell feel. What superb crisp images of these two. There is some difficulty with the direction of light and shadows but you processed it so that the overall image and composition is very appealing. Superb. Love your humor Link to comment

Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted December 4, 2014 This defiantly caught my eye, I am well into the subject matter. The layering is well done giving us a vintage feel, the image we can relate to, average people at the shore, doing their thing. I do like the shadow work. Link to comment
