Just outstanding Gail! Absolutely one of the best you've done. You just have to hang this one on a wall! Looks like it was done with paint brushes!!! (7 all the way!!)

You’ve turned reality into fantasy. It’s romantic and creative – it’s splendorous. Thanks a lot for sharing this kaleidoscopic extravaganza. Best regards.

I sometimes think you may have an unconscious link with your roots, as this reminds me very much of the Royal Scottish Emblem "The Thistle" abeit a very colourful, intricate and fiery rendition. The first use of the Thistle as a royal symbol of Scotland was on silver coins issued by James III in 1470. This certainly seems to have a gaelic / royal connection. I can even detect a crown and cross swords in there too. Maybe a Clan rather than a tribe : - )  Beautifully done Gail !

Best Regards

Alf

Well I have the Scotts in me from my Mother's side, Brits from my Dad, and then long long ago, we were suppossed to be descendants from Italian Pirates..........go figure! But I can see what you see as well, thankyou Alf for those fine words of critique!

best regards, Gail
