tommiller 1 Posted May 30, 2011 Am I really the first to praise this? You've done a great job of keeping detail in both the shadows and the highlights. I really like the colors, and the soft reflection of the colors on the water. Somehow your exposure was long enough to deal with the low light, and to blur the waves on the water, but short enough not to blur the ship.Regards, Tom Link to comment
mike_palermiti 3 Posted May 30, 2011 George,A wonderful scene, indeed.Excellent post processing, too.I would like to have seen the details of the camera/lens and settings used such that I could rate the image based upon the technical aspects. No rating provided at this time.Regards, Mike Link to comment

trakakis 0 Posted May 30, 2011 Thank you for your comments! This photo is a mixing of two seperate photos; one for the ship, and one for all the other. Ship was captured with f/3.5, ISO 1600, 1/10 s to avoid blurring, the bridge and the sea were captured with f/20, ISO 100, 40 s.It was impossible to capture all the details with one capture, because of the big difference of the lights and the movement of the ship.Thank you again!
