Columbine Stamen

Once again I've learned something new. The Stamens of the

Columbine are the 'Male Sexual Parts' of the flower. I was fortunate

to find this singular plant and the stamens almost looked like they

were floating in space. It was fascinating to see. I didn't have a tripod

with me today; at times I was not able to hold the camera as still as I

would have liked to. (Thanks for taking the time to look, warm

My first thought was I wanted to smell the perfume fragrance of this wonderful card.

Yellow is hard color to represent in interesting way, you have manage it well.

Nice shot. You did well to take this hand held. The colors of the flower, the drop shadow and background look good together.

Its a beautiful capture. I really like the soft dreamy look.....looks more like fine art to me rather than conventional floral shot.

Good point of view, has depth and the lack of DOF makes it look like something special and maybe dynamic, like developing something!
