Aline this is an espectacular image, I have seen cats chasing birds and killing them instantly many times, or has been succesful to get to the bird on time to save her/him! But never saw this incridible moment as the cat is just looking. Acording to Migenes, we evolve from less to higher consciouness and this kitty is on the way up! Cngratulations!  Great image my friend.

I'm guessing this is two photos combined and I do like the concept lots.

It seems to me that the cats eyes are focused higher up and to the left of the bird though. PhotoShopped layers?

Cheers ~

Hello Alberta,

No, no, no, it is not photoshopped, I can send you the source picture (NEF).
It would be uninteresting, in my opinion, to do such a thing.

But yes, I have prepared the scene, puting the bird on a table, and letting my cat approaching. I choosed to focus on the bird because it was the main subject.

The bird was safe and replaced in its nest.
