On my last trip to Norway I was lucky enough to witness the Aurora Borealis, it's something I'll never forget. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me, but it's good to see you posting these images to remind me of this beautiful phonomena. I would be interested to know what settings you used, was this a long exposure ?

Alf: Nice to hear. You have to take another trip with your camera. The settings varies from the amount of light (moon/ daylight/sun set) and the strength of the aurora. Also if theres other lights present. It also depends on ur camera and lens. This is ISO800, f.2.8 and 10sec shutterspeed.
