Guest Guest Posted February 17, 2011 I did not know you shot in IR? But if you post processed to and IR image again that is impressive. I think the work you have dong with regards to the tone and the edge work to draken it a bit to add more focus to the subjects is superb. I like the work you have been creating recently shows a marked jump in the attitude you are taking towards your shots. Travel is great but the moment captured and saved are forever... Anabela Sequeira 0 Posted February 17, 2011 Grigoriy, thanks so much for your thoughts on this one. Greatly appreciated!MJ, no I didn't shoot IR. I converted it to b/w and then proceed with some levels adjustments and applied textures to enhance the photo. Thanks so much for your words of encouragement...You are too kind...:) Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted February 17, 2011 Anabela, very good creative work. Vignetting and focusing light on the people and trees , has the desired result. Tone and the scratch-like effect makes the image of bygone days. Link to comment

hamidfarzandian 0 Posted February 17, 2011 The scene itself is a very appealing landscape having life and energy feelings in it , getting more attractiveness and moody with this nice mono conversion, overlayed texture and apt vignette. Its unique! Bravo.Hamid. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted February 18, 2011 I love the look and appeal of this composition, it has the quality of an old photo or slide, almost portcard. Truly lovely work Anabela!!! Very unique and attractive. Kind regards, Gail Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted February 21, 2011 I agree with Gail, it truly does have a old postcard kind of quality that is very appealing and nostagic, it would also be interesting to see a reversed vignetting, like a paler rendition, again giving the impression of a post card worn at the edges.Very well done AnabelaBest RegardsAlf Link to comment
