william_staniforth 0 Posted February 13, 2011 You mentioned bathing in the lake ... why not make her the Lady of the Lake ! I'm sure you can do it . Bill Link to comment
x_wang 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Have I seen her before? I'm not very good at distinguish people's face, because I'm foreign.Very interesting expression quite unique for a portrait, a bit haunting...especially the poppy(looks like an eye) leads my thoughts to somewhere else.. very imaginative.Jasmine Link to comment
yannis_georgikopoulos 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Not just another portrait for sure!! Seems like a beautiful plastic doll or better like a lost fairy dreaming of her next flying journey...excellent work my friend!Best RegardsP.S: Je savais pas que tu parles francais! Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted February 13, 2011 Here is a portrait artwork, resulted from your expertise in photography, as well as high skills of your model to get pose in such a surreal manner and look! Very well done! Bravo.Hamid. Link to comment
John Peri 1,032 Posted February 13, 2011 An interesting change Pierre, and a very successful one at that, bravo. I will not speak about the young lady (hmm, now who does that usually...) but the way in which she is treated here photographically. I guess you could not resist the temptation of adding the surreal touch of an extra eye, and it really works very well, somehow evading the cliché effect that one might expect, maybe because it takes a moment before one first notices it. The way in which the subject looks right through us also adds to the effect. I am a little surprised at your choice of black and white here and wonder if colour would not further increase the impact. At any rate, an intriguing picture, I really enjoyed looking at it, thank you. Link to comment
dandem 1 Posted February 14, 2011 Very different from you, Pierre. Good p/p work - great artistic touch. Well done, my friend. Regards, Lawrence. Link to comment
harlequin 0 Posted February 14, 2011 Far more than just a portrait. She could be straight out of the "Stepford Wives" with that lifeless stare, curt smile and long brown hair. a well taken shot, nicely done. - Charles Link to comment
Elstad 9 Posted February 14, 2011 Looks like I'm not the first to view this one Pierre... The stark lighting is most intriguing and it gives this a somewhat painterly quality. Bravo! -r- Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted February 14, 2011 Wonderful portrait. The flower is almost as if it is a third eye, complete with catch light. Link to comment

Ciao, Mau! Link to comment
