Bob,

Great capture of one of my favorite spots.  I like the texture and toning as it gives the image a nice mood, well suited to the actual location.  Lovely lines leading my eye across the dunes and dune grass to the lighthouse.

If anything, I would like to see a bit more space above the lighthouse to set the lighthouse in the frame and add a bit of balance to the expanse of beach below.

    Regards,

     GFK

The grainy texture seems quite at home with this image, it gives it a distinctly impressionist feel, but not overstated in any way.

Nice work Bob!

Best Regards

Man, those summer days seem so far away, especially with all this freakin' snow and cold.  Another miserable snowstorm looms, but this reminds me that it's not permanent and that warm sand and somewhat warm water awaits.  The texture is nice, almost airbrushed onto canvas.

Bob,

The texture is vey fitting I think for this image. Although I think the image could certainly "stand on it's own" without any problems.

The composition is good but I would prefer a bit more at the top (If it were mine, but it's not!).

The shadow below the walkway of the Lighthouse and the perspective with the texture really does make this presentation of the photograph I think.

Regards,

Jim j.

This texture gives this photo an old worn out feel to me, as if it has been handled a lot, perhaps a favorite spot that holds memories for someone.  The texture adds just another  element that has worked out well for you.  Kindest regards, Gail

Aahh !

So stretched.

So imperfect.

So glamorous.

So beautiful !

Congrats ol' pal !

The texture you applied makes the image feel  "gritty", which, given it's a beach, is perfect! Nice one. I can't help but wonder if there was a very white softy cloud at top right that you cropped out. Don't ask me why..
