This is how it looked in my bay yesterday. The light and conditions

changes constantly. One of my favorite places.

Happy New Year to all my friends on PN.

Any comments?

Many images with this sort of climate been posted here these which do shows the weather in the west being so.

This is very appealing capture and very well lit under such critical atmospheric condition and with very effective DOF which helped to bring out very fine details all over this place, the contrast and the tone so well maintained and all of that do add to the superb composition of this image.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

nice place for a mug of tea! for all its winter gray/blue hues, Sidsel, it's so exquisitely breathtaking, beyond charming; given life by the boathouse reddish brown! your pictures purify me, Sidsel. happiness in the New Year back at ya! ;-} dp

Thank you all for commenting on my photo.

Terry: Too cold for a swim, but just wait until summer.

Donna: Yes, a mug of tea or coffe. There's a bench in front of the boathouse.

I looked this one up after viewing the summer version, and I have to say I'm really pleased I did. The winter view really appeals to me with the snow highlighting the distant shores of the bay. I also like the way the snow accentuates the colours of the cabin / boat house.  Great winter scene!

Best Regards

Sidsel, a beautiful serene place. I love the way you framed the view with the deep warmth of the cabins offsetting the cool tones.
